Jud Eson
Following a career in information technology with New York State, Jud retired in 2013, a year after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 58. Jud has been active in the Parkinson’s community, serving as president of the Capital District Parkinson’s Support Group, facilitating PD SELF classes for those newly diagnosed, and participating in numerous educational, creative, social, volunteer, and physical pursuits. He is an avid reader, bicycle rider and artist. He has found that Parkinson’s unleashed his creativity and he now makes original art by blowing ink on paper which he finds meditative, fun and therapeutic. Jud lives in Colonie, New York with his wife, Nancy.
