Help for Parkinson's is a non-profit dedicated to empowering the Parkinson's community. We strive to:

  • Inspire and support individuals living with Parkinson's.

  • Advocate for improved quality of life and access to care.

  • Drive meaningful change in Parkinson's research and treatment

Our MISSION

  • Empower individuals living with Parkinson's Disease in the Greater Capital Region by providing them with:

    • Essential tools, tips, and resources for daily living.

    • Access to information and support networks.

  • Equip Parkinson's community leaders with the knowledge and resources necessary to drive positive and sustainable change.

  • Serve as a central hub of information for all things Parkinson's in the Greater Capital Region.

  • Foster data-driven initiatives that improve access to and engagement with quality-of-life resources at the grassroots level.

  • Enhance Parkinson's awareness and health literacy within the community.

  • Educate organizations (e.g., YMCAs, Senior Centers, Parkinson's Support Groups) on the importance of wellness in addressing the challenges of Parkinson's Disease.

  • Expand access to exercise and nutrition programs by providing funding support.

  • Develop a sustainable funding model to ensure the ongoing success of our organization.

  • Promote active community involvement and participation.
